Use stone/pavers for foundation of raised garden bed?

I am building two 4’x8’ garden beds out of cedar 2”x8”x8’ boards with 4”x4” corner/mid posts. The beds will be 22” deep. For aesthetic reasons (blending with rest of landscaping), I want to put a “frame“ of stone or brick pavers around the bottom edge, so that the wood frame of the bed would rest on pavers instead of the dirt. The interior of the bed would be open, only the frame would be on pavers. I have‘t found any examples of this online, which makes me nervous. Would this cause any issues? Drainage shouldn’t be affected; would having the bottom on stone help or hurt rot? Would the weight of the frame be a problem with settling over time? Thanks! via /r/DIY
