Plastering walls

So, many mistakes and issues after buying our first home 2 years ago, and I’m eating those mistakes even still today. Back then, I bought nearly 20 bags of structolite base coat plaster to coat a drywall room with. It’s been sitting all this time, and it still appears in good condition.Since we’re stuck with it, may as well use it. Going to do a purposefully “sloppy” job applying it for a farmhouse look. Drywall will be sanded and coated with special primer to accept the plaster.QUESTION: is veneer plaster than base coat plaster in any significant way? Can I use just the base coat plaster and seal it? via /r/DIY
