Refrigerant through fridge water and ice maker. Can we use it, clean it?

A few years ago my husband and I attempted to tap into the cold water line with a self tap. Well the cold water line was actually our central air A/C refrigerant line. It has since been fixed and refilled and now we’d like to have someone come out and actually hook our fridge up. Before we found out it was the A/C line it was ran through the fridge for 10 minutes or so before we went back up to check the line.

Anyways, refrigerant through the fridge, filter, etc. Is it still okay? We would buy a new filter and run water through for a while as suggested by A/C guy, but I’m still apprehensive. Googling didn’t bring many answers. Any thoughts?

TLDR: Is it safe to drink water from a fridge that had refrigerant ran through?
