Would radiant barrier sheets work to keep cabinets from getting too hot?

I’ve got a shed I’m trying to convert into a perfumery workshop. Basically, my chemicals need to be kept room temperature or below. I was thinking instead of wasting energy cooling the place when I’m not around, I could insulate my cabinets with thermal barriers and use some re-freezable icepacks to keep the temperature around 60 degrees during the summer. Where I’m from it gets around 80-90 during the summer.

Would this actually work or should I think of something else?
