I used mineral spirits to get some remaining paint goop off of some cabinet doors. When this is fully dried I plan to use some water-based polyurethane on the doors.

The cabinet doors are on a kitchen island that also has a gas stove. I know that dried rags with mineral spirits on them can be flammable, yet mineral spirits are applied to things all the time…will the cabinet doors be a fire risk after the mineral spirits have dried for a few days before putting them back on?
