I am picking up my brand new car next week and plan to powder coat the brake calipers. I know that brakes that have been used for many weeks/months will need significantly more prep time and cleaning so I figured what better time than now.

Since these are brand new calipers, would it be alright to reuse the OEM gasket seals and rings if I remove them carefully? I ask mainly because I am having a tough time locating caliper rebuild kits.
