Tell me why I’m wrong – granite

8x4x4" granite pavers can be used for building a foundation. Go down to frost line, put a sublayer of sand, build up 2ft above ground level using NHL 5 lime mortar and it will last hundreds of years, longer than concrete, and will not require damp proofing course.
