DJ system on TV stand mounted on rolling wheels for portability – How to mount the wheels/Which wheels to use?
Not sure exactly why type of wood it is but the TV stand is heavy…And then plus the weight of the pallet skid and DJ system.
I have 6 big wheels or 4 small wheels. The small wheels can be screwed in but the big wheels will need a holed drilled in the stand and the stand will just sit on the wheels and use one of those one way push on washers since there is no threads for a nut to screw on. My concern is with enough back and forth rolling around the drilled holes will expand and the wheels will become wobbly and eventually just fall out. The big wheels are obviously stronger than the small ones.
I have more of the big wheels which means added support but the small wheel can be securly attatched with 16 screws or nuts/bolts/washers and not be affected with back and forth rolling but ther is only 4.
The big wheels are dependant on what type of wood this might be and how back and forth rolling would affect that type of wood the stand is made out of.
I know I can go buy different wheels but trying to see if this is doable from what I already have laying around on hand first. The big wheels are from an office desk chair and the small wheels are from a portable air conditioner. https://imgur.com/a/SF4Ikv
