Waterproofing details for exterior wall intrusions

I need to cut holes in my exterior wall for a bathroom vent and dryer vent. What I can't seem to find is what needs to be done to weather proof the intrusion.

I know I need to use exterior screws but do I need to caulk the screws? Where the dryer vents sit on the siding, do I need to caulk around it? Anything else I should be doing?

Most of the videos/explanations I've found are on how to connect the duct work or cut the hole. They seem to assume that I know the rest…
