Recently installed a channel drain and I didn’t grade it correctly. Looking for solutions.
I recently installed a channel drain in front of my garage. After completing it, I noticed that I didn't grade it correctly and am experiencing pooling on the right side. It solves the problem of preventing water from coming into my garage, but water is now sitting in the drain on the right side. Does anyone have any solutions on how to fix this problem? The only thing I could come up with is to maybe put some rocks or bricks in the channel on the right side to potentially displace some of the water. I suppose having some sitting water over there won't be the end of the world, but I would like to figure out a solution. Lesson learned though, always check first to make sure something works before cementing it in place!
