What can I use to clear a slow drain, I have septic.

I have a non removable grate over my shower drain so I can't snake it.

2nd floor bath, now slow due to my gf hair. I bought a wire mesh cover for the shower drain I asked her to use but she apparently never has.

I have to turn off the water during my shower 3x for about 2-3 min each to drain the water.

Is there any good liquid hair clog eater that is septic safe? Or do I need to call a plumber to rip off the grate and snake it?

Edit: thank you all! Used a plunger once the water was filling up and it took 2 min of plunging but drain is now open!
