Exterior wood paint inside?

Hi all, we recently replaced our conservatory roof and now redecorating inside and out. A decent portion is timber frames around the glass as well as two external doors. We want to paint all the wood inside and out in the same colour and found that it's easier and cheaper buy a larger volume of external 'garden' paint than trying to find the same shade in both internal and external paints in enough quantities.

Simply put, can we safely us the outdoor paint for the indoor frames and skirting boards? I've searched online and found conflicting answers with the main negative being higher chemical output for the external paint. The room can be well ventilated while painting but I don't know if that would be enough to solve the problem or if there are other factors I've missed.

Thanks.
