Need to widen exterior door opening in block/stucco home, need advice.
My house has an exterior door in our master bath that leads to our patio/pool area. I need to replace this door because it is starting to rot. I would love to just replace the door itself, but the problem I'm having is that (I believe) it is a 80"x28" door (actual size 78 7/8"x 27 1/2") I cannot find any doors this size. The closest I can find is 80×30, but that means that I have to widen the opening 2 inches.
I've done much DIY work, but cutting into masonry isn't one of them. What would I need tool-wise? And is this something that I can (or should) do myself?
Any advice would be appreciated.
