Is it safe to use an adapter to convert 3 prong Range to 4 prong Dryer?

Hey guys. First time posting here. I'm a new home owner, just purchased a home that was built in the 60s. I have my washer/dryer being delivered this afternoon and I just noticed that the outlet for the dryer seems to be an old 50a Range Outlet.

Instead of trying to pay an electrician to come in and replace this outlet, I ordered an adapter that converts 3 prong Range to 4 prong dryer. Here is the exact item I purchased: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XKCFVJ3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Just wanted to get some input to see if this method is safe? Even if it is just a temporary solution until I'm able to have someone come in and replace this outlet.

Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
