Where to start laying laminate?

Hey everyone!

Wife and I just bought a house and we are in the planning process of replacing the floors and I have no idea where would be best to start with placing the floor down. We're going with the laminate wood kind.

It's a 3 bed, 2 bath and we are only replacing the flooring in the bedrooms, hallway, living room, and dining room. The dining room connects to the living room which connects to the hallway where the bedrooms are connected to.

My thought is to start at the end of the hallway and place a line of laminate right down the middle to the other end in the living room and use that as a base to work towards and from. Then do the bedrooms from the hallway.

EDIT: This is my first time doing anything like this. We can't afford to hire someone to do it but I'm really excited about it.
