Underlayment for vinyl plank flooring in basement?

I am planning on buying this vinyl plank flooring for my basement. I assume I will need some sort of moisture barrier for my floor to avoid water issues.

This will be over a concrete floor.

I am not concerned about the temperature of the floor or the cushioning of foam underlayment.

I have tested by taping a 2×2 sheet of plastic against the floor to test for moisture buildup over a week or so and no droplets have formed.

Is the foam necessary for underlayment or can I simply use 3mil plastic sheeting to achieve the moisture barrier since I don't seem to have any moisture issues?
