Question – Replace tile under toilet flange or just cut around?
In replacing the bathroom tile, I'm looking to replace the tile under this perfectly working toilet flange pictured below. The blue part itself rotates around the ABS pipe vs some of the one piece flanges I've seen. I'm not sure how it disconnects and re-connects so I can replace the tile. In looking at youtube videos I'm concerned it's one piece integrated and I'd have a lot of work to do if I tried to remove it.
I think it's somethign like this? https://www.homedepot.com/p/Oatey-Fast-Set-3-in-ABS-Hub-Spigot-Toilet-Flange-with-Test-Cap-and-Stainless-Steel-Ring-435892/306121202?MERCH=REC-_-pipsem-_-100156425-_-306121202-_-N&
I think I should just cut a square around it and lay in the new tile next to the old at the same level? The toilet should just cover it up? Sounds kinda janky to me but I don't have enough to pay a plumber to fix it.
Thanks in advance.
