Need help removing a kitchen faucet

Hey this is a little embarrassing, but I can’t seem to figure out how to remove this kitchen faucet… everywhere I looked there are two screws to unscrew after which I shall be able to pull the faucet out, but as shown in the pic, here I have 2 long “poles” which don’t seem to be screw-able…
